Making Nusskuchen (nut cake)

After looking at all the delicious-looking photographs in our interview with Fotolia Contributor Victoria Petrashova we had to ask if she would share one of her favorite recipes.
She kindly (or unkindly, depending on whether you’re trying to lose weight) sent us the recipe for Nusskuchen, a wonderful German nut cake.
Cake ingredients:
2 eggs
100 gm sugar
100 ml vegetable oil
200 ml milk
150 gm flour
100 g ground hazelnuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
Glaze ingredients (white ganache):
100 gm white chocolate
50 gm whipping cream
Method for the cake:
Preheat the oven to 200° C (180° for a fan oven).
