Photoshop Crop Tool – Its Not Just For Cropping

The Crop tool can be found in the tool bar, but it’s worth knowing the keyboard shortcut, C
Once you activate the tool a bounding box with 8 handles appears.
Drag to Size
Any of the 8 handles can be used to resize the crop independently, however there are a couple of modifier keys you can use:
Pressing Shift and the using a transform handle will constrain the image to the proportions when you click down.
