  • Add voice recordings to lightboxes and play full screen slideshows of lightbox contents
  • Share lightboxes, single images or multiple images with others via email

The app was designed and developed in conjunction with Ubermind of Seattle, WA.  A similar iPhone app, which will also be free, will be available in the coming months.

WHY:    Getty Images designed the app based on customer research where more than half of those surveyed responded that they currently use their mobile device to look at stock media websites. The iPad’s innovative technology and functionality enabled Getty Images to devise an app that enhances how customers are currently searching for imagery.

The Getty Images iPad app takes advantage of the device’s high resolution, full color screen and advanced capabilities to provide creatives with the ability to display and interact with the company’s vast library of compelling and powerful high-quality imagery.

WHEN: The Getty Images app is now available for download at the App Store.

WHO:   The Getty Images app was designed to free creative and media teams from the constraints of their desktops and presents the Company’s award-winning imagery in a more intuitive and engaging interface.
