Can PixTrakk bring an end to manual usage checking?

From my work both past and present at Photoshot in the UK I am well aware of the challenge of checking large quantities of newspapers for usages of the agencies’ images. This still largely manual work takes up time of both sales people and editors in particular. PixTrakk is a company that wants to tackle this problem by scanning newspapers and then use visual recognition to bring forward the images from an agency that PixTrakk has in their database.

Using similar technology as ImageRights the application of the image recognition differs. In this case the company focuses on streamlining the process of finding images in printmedia.
