Getty Images launches localised websites
Getty Images is launching localised websites that show clients all the international images plus imagery that is specific for the markets. The company announced the changes with an email to existing clients:

In the next few days you may notice a small change to the way you access gettyimages.com – a local version of your website.
You’ll see the difference in your browser as we automatically redirect you to your local site –gettyimages.co.uk, gettyimages.ie, or gettyimages.dk, for example. You won’t see any difference in the range of imagery, footage and music you already get on gettyimages.com.
However, as you’ll be using your local site, you also get to see content specific to your country – as well as prices automatically displayed in the currency for your country.
If you’d rather not use your local site, you can return to our .com site (or any other of our local sites) by using the ‘International’ button in the top right corner of the homepage
