London based Bridgeman has added to Scott Polar Institute to its’ portfolio of photography collections
PRESS RELEASE
Bridgeman is excited to announce our representation of the Scott Polar Research Institute, currently in the running for the Art Fund Prize 2011.
For the first time many of the Institute’s fine art images will be commercially available online. This includes the UK’s largest collection of watercolours by Edward Adrian Wilson, who accompanied Scott on both the Discovery and Terra Nova expeditions to Antarctica.
Heather Lane, Librarian & Keeper of Collections at the Scott Polar Research Institute, said, “We are really pleased to be represented by the Bridgeman Art Library, who will be able to bring our art works to a world-wide audience. We are excited to know that our outstanding collections, which have until now been little known, will be made more accessible.”
