4corners photographer receives World Press Photo award

Photographer Tommaso Ausili, a contributor at London based 4Corners images has won the third price in the contemporary issue category for a set of twelve images that “thoughtfully explores the automation of life and death in an abattoir”. 4Corners now represents 4 award winning photographers, these are the others:

Luciano Gaudenzio won First Prize in the “Magnificent Wilderness” category of the International Glanzlichter Photo Award 2009.
Franco Cogoli won Croatia’s Zlatna Penkala 2008
Massimo Mastrorillo won First Prize in the Nature Category of the World Press Photo Competition 2005
