A Year in Space
Astronaut Scott Kelly’s scientifically groundbreaking trip of ‘#ayearinspace’ commenced on March 27th this year. Alongside Russian Mikhail Kornienko, Kelly is scheduled to spend 522 days on board the International Space Station as part of a NASA initiated study to test the long-term effects of zero gravity on the human body. It is hoped Scott and Kornienko’s mission will give us foresight into the likelihood of potential human existence outside of our terrestrial home.
