Alamy reports a record amount of submissions in the past 8 weeks.

Online photo agency giant Alamy consolidated its position in January as the world’s largest online source of stock imagery.  In the past 8 weeks the independently owned stock agency added a record 1.2 million images taking the size of its collection beyond 22 million. In January alone the collection grew by 620,000 images.

Alamy receives new images every day from its global network of the world’s leading picture agencies and professional and amateur photographers.  Content spans cutting edge creative stock, editorial, news, sport and entertainment imagery, giving customers more choice than anywhere else.
