PRESS RELEASE
The Centre of the Picture Industry (CEPIC) and the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) are thrilled to announce a one of a kind interactive portfolio review on Wednesday 16th May 2012 at the Truman Brewery in London.
We have gathered together some of the most eminent photo editors, art directors and experienced visual critiques with global commercial experience. We are delighted to welcome our esteemed judges:
- Alan Capel, Alamy
- Paul Foster, Getty Images
- Maggie Gowan, British Wildlife Photography
- Ashley Jouhar, Cultura Creative
- Denise Taylor Secretan, Image Source
This team will review, critique and share tips with you on how pictures work, how they will be used and what makes a best selling image. We invite you to submit up to 6 images for their interactive review session. In order to qualify for the review, you must be registered for the One Day Photocentric Conference or the CEPIC Full Three Day Congress.
Submitted images should be sized to fit on a 1024 x 768 pixel screen at 72 ppi in the sRGB or Adobe 1998 RGB color space and saved in JPEG format with a compression level of 10. Please submit your images (no more than 6 jpegs) via email to: portfolio@cepic.org.
- Deadline for submissions is the 7th of May 2012.
Please note: images for projection will be chosen at the judge’s discretion and the decisions of the judges will be final. ASMP and CEPIC do not claim any rights to submissions beyond projecting selected images during the interactive portfolio review session for educational purposes only. All copyrights remain the property of the original rightsholder.
This is going to be an exciting, informative and educational day where we will be able to tap into the creative intelligence of some of the most talented picture people of our time. Make sure you get your images in early. Remember, in order to qualify for the review, you must be registered for the one day Photocentric Conference or the CEPIC London Week!
