DACS Artimage Welcome New Artists

DACS Artimage are excited to welcome a number of new artists to Artimage:

Himali Singh Soin and her collaboration Hylozoic Desires with David Soin Tappeser, working across text, performance and moving image and  drawing inspiration, ranging from environmental history to contemporary fiction.

George Young with his figurative work of real-life experiences, and practice spaning painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation and film.

Louise Giovanelli, with her brightly worked canvases, drawing her imagery from sources as diverse as Renaissance art, vintage film stills, and contemporary popular entertainers.

Arthur Timothy, whose work weaves narratives often drawn from his family’s life and recollections of the childhood that he spent in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and in the UK. His work is featured in the exhibition Postcards from a Promised Land at Gallery 1957, which opened last Thursday, 8 December.
