Former Getty Images head of creative,Lewis Blackwell, joins Image Source
My former colleague at Getty Images and past Fast Media contributor Lewis Blackwell has joined Image Source as Director of strategy.

Image Source, the world’s leading producer of premium royalty free stock imagery, motion and Cross-Media content, announces the immediate appointment of Lewis Blackwell as Director of Strategy.
Lewis brings with him a wealth of experience from the film and photography industries, as well as magazine and book publishing. A former executive board member of Getty Images, Lewis led brand and product development, advised on acquisitions and also developed the film side of the business during his ten year tenure at Getty.
Most recently he has acted as adviser to private equity investors, non-profits and other innovative and entrepreneurial businesses and his career has spanned both customer and producer, having created award-winning new media communications, celebrated books and prestigious exhibitions, as well as being the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Creative Review magazine for many years. His recently published Photowisdom was one of PDN’s books of the year as well as being recommended by The Guardian, and his Life & Love of Trees was a bestseller in the United States after acclaim from Ellen DeGeneres.
