Getty Images And Uncensored Interview Sign Distribution Deal
Getty Images has signed a deal with Uncensored Interview, a multimedia production company. Getty Images will represent Uncensored Interviews video content.

Uncensored Interview, a full service video and multimedia production company, today announced a content distribution deal with Getty Images, Inc., the world’s leading creator and distributor of visual content and digital media. Getty Images will now represent Uncensored Interview’s video archive of artists through its extensive editorial footage offering.
This partnership expands Uncensored Interview’s global reach and new customers by soon providing access to more than 2,500 niche, high-definition quality video clips through Getty Images’ powerful distribution platform. In addition to its existing library, Getty Images will distribute Uncensored Interview’s new productions and expanding content verticals to serve customers’ growing demand for premium niche video material.

Announced at the annual CMJ Music Marathon, Uncensored Interview will launch its initial offering through Getty Images in the fall of 2010. Uncensored Interview will continue to expand on its content offering to international audiences, distributing content more broadly across the globe and tailoring content uses per platform. Getty Images’ global distribution will ensure that Uncensored Interview’s well-known, along with lesser-known, artists will receive maximum exposure and promotion. As the international audience builds, Uncensored Interview will roll out new technical features that will further enhance the customer experience and heighten the promotion capabilities of the artists due to the expansive reach of Getty Images.

Uncensored Interview has been involved with the CMJ Music Marathon for three years, producing over 100 interviews during the festival and partnering with both local and national artists and media. In 2008, it was named a Music Category finalist at the SXSW Interactive Web Awards and in 2010, was recognized by The Webby Awards. The company was also featured at the Brite Conference and was one of the only content companies at The Open Video Conference for its content contribution to the open source community.
