iStockphoto Hires Former EMI, Nielsen Entertainment and Virgin Music Group Executive Nick King as Vice President, International

CALGARY, Alberta: Feb. 1, 2010 — iStockphoto today announced that it has hired digital media industry veteran, Nick King, as vice president, international. King will spearhead the company’s international development and will focus his efforts on reaching new customers and markets around the globe.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the media, entertainment, publishing and information industries, King has a long track record of international brand and business building with a diverse mix of companies including EMI Group, Virgin Music Group, and online retail pioneers Boxman. As president, international of Nielsen Entertainment, he managed the transition of key businesses to digital delivery, and launched services in multiple territories across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He has also acted as a CEO-level adviser to newspaper and magazine publishing businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.
