Making Fast Media Magazine More Comprehensive
Dear reader and followers of Fast Media Magazine.
With about 1,5 years of publishing this site I wanted to announce a few changes. First of all, I am widening the scope of the site. While much of the news will still be focussed around the stockphoto business, stories will expand beyond just that. As photography has become such an integral part of Media consumption the subjects you will find here are expanding with this. I am hoping to publish a mix of stories, releases and ideas that can help business owners, executives and other forward looking readers make informed decisions.
How exactly? Difficult to say other than that it will focus on the world of Fast Moving Media and that it is work in progress so please send your feedback, your suggestions and your news.
Apart from the website I am also breathing new life in our Facebook page as you may know Facebook will be announcing big changes today about their platform and how it is used. While there is a lot of turmoil about even the small-ish changes over the past days I find that Facebook has improved greatly in use-ability. In fact, Company pages have become ever easier and sharing of information is now a few clicks away.
Whatever changes will be announced today, Facebook is clearly developing in a Media-force to be reckoned with. This is why I am pleased to say that the Fast Media Magazine Facebook page will be updated daily with stories and links from all over the web, many of these will not appear on Fast Media Magazine but are exclusive to the Facebook page so please follow Fast Media Magazine to get our stories delivered to your feed constantly.
With the extra attention to Facebook the attention to Linkedin and Twitter is not the main priority at the moment. But stories are still fed to our twitter account and our linkedin page so if you’re active there you can still follow those
Thank you so far for following the news on this site for a little over a year. I appreciate the support and hope I can continue to count on your readership. And of course you can send in your news, post on the Facebook page and comment on stories, so feel free to engage and interact.
Best regards,
Marco Oonk, editor
