More News, Shorter Stories, Added Opinions

It’s been a while since I have last updated Fast Media Magazine.  In fact it was December last year. There are a number of reasons for this,  most importantly my business. This has taken up a lot of my time and focus away from sharing noteworthy stories with the industry. Fast Media is not a business so unfortunately will always come in second place.  Add to this a number of IT issues and before you know if a few months are over.

The good news is that these were slow months. Not much was happening in the stockphoto industry (at least not out in the open). In the last few weeks news has picked up, IT issues are resolved and there is a bit more time so I will be back posting on Fast Media Magazine. Stories might be shorter as I will share them as they come in but hopefully none of the relevance will disappear. I am alsop trying to commit to more analysis and background stories. These can take a long time to prepare and write so please bear with me as I attempt to add these.

So here we are, the first short message in 2013 with a few more to come soon as there has been some recent uproar on the microstock side of the business that is worth keeping informed about.

With over 500 followers on Facebook I will also go back to posting interesting links there for those who prefer to use that medium. Thanks for sticking with Fast Media during the quiet period and please do let the information and opinions come in.
