Robert Harding reports good news

Robert Harding  has recently made changes to its website and is reporting a marked increase in traffic as a result of these improvements. The company has seen their web traffic increase by a significant 20% in the past 6 months. The stock agency, founded in 1972, provides leading travel imagery from around the world for use in advertising, design, publishing and the travel industry.

Collections have been added to the site from the likes of National Geographic, Tao, Godong and Last Refuge, among others. This has boosted the images on offer by 250,000 new additions. In line with the new developments, the company has revamped its website to make it more user friendly, and allow clients faster searches and easier downloads. Other new features include a Lightbox tool that allows customers to rearrange their selections with a simple drag and drop function. Another feature that was missing but has been added to the website is the Big Images option, which allows image searchers to view a full screen size preview image.

“The policy these days from the principal distributors of stock seems to be more is better and while we have always preferred to adopt a quality rather than quantity approach we have found that by carefully selecting our partners we have been able to add quantity without compromising the quality we are synonymous with”, says Fraser Hall, Senior Content Editor.

In the coming months, Robert Harding endeavours to increase its niche collections that they believe will compliment its world imagery. They welcome new additions from individual photographers and established picture libraries. Founder and Managing Director Robert Harding added,

“We have seen a 20% increase in our web traffic over the past 6 months with customers spending longer on the site than ever before which demonstrates they are finding more images relevant to their searches and ultimately taking the time to select and download the high res files. The feedback we are getting is that they are really enjoying the user experience on the new website which of course then makes me very happy”.
