The Secret Lives of Fruit and Vegetables
Trying to make your children eat their five a day would most likely be a thing of the past if parents did what NYC based photographer Maciek Jasik did in his photo series ‘The Secret Lives of Fruit and Vegetables‘.
Filling the vegetables with coloured smoke bombs, allowing for it to spew out via pierced outlets in the skin gives the fruit and vegetables an out worldly and atmospheric aesthetic. Jasik believes this technique revives characteristics “that have been lost amidst the clamour of nutritional statistics” (This Is Colossal).
