Trunk Archive Hires Vanity Fair Photography Director
Trunk Archive has made a high profile hire with Susan White, formerly the photography director at Vanity Fair

Trunk Archive, an exclusive image licensing company based in New York City, is pleased to announce that Susan White has joined their management team as Executive Director, Licensing. Ms. White, Photography Director at Vanity Fair since 1993, has played a vital role in defining the visual brand of that magazine. Over the years she has collaborated with many of the great names in photography, including Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts,
Mario Testino and Steven Meisel, to name only a few.
Trunk Archive represents the archives of many of the world’s most sought-after photographers from the realms of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, celebrity, architecture and travel. Susan White is widely acknowledged as one of the most influential directors of photography working today. She has received numerous industry awards for her work including 3 Asme Ellies for Excellence in Photography, two Society for Publication Designer Awards in 2000, and a Lucie award for Photography Editor of the Year in 2005. Ms. White has been named by American Photography as one of the top 100 Influential Names in Photography. In addition Ms. White has served as a judge at the Maine Workshops, SPD, ASME and PDN and has been a guest lecturer at ICP, at NYU and at the Arles Photography Festival in France.
