Thought Equity Motion’s video platform will power the USTA

PRESS RELEASE

Thought Equity Motion, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based video platform and footage licensing services, announced today that the United States Tennis Association (USTA) engaged in a multi-year, exclusive agreement to  utilize the company’s advanced video platform and sales distribution network to license US Open  tournament footage dating back to the 1960s.

“We are excited to offer the US Open’s rich video heritage through the industry’s leading online footage licensing platform,” said Paul White, Director of Licensing and Retail Development at the USTA. “Content producers worldwide can quickly and easily search, preview, and download our content for use in their TV and film productions, commercials, and corporate projects. Thought Equity Motion’s platform technology and rights development expertise will help us to extend our archives’ value beyond the live event.”

The US Open library—exclusively available to producers and businesses through www.thoughtequity.com—features video of legendary tennis matches from the tournament.  The library will be continually updated with new-found archival and current championship tournament footage.

“USTA footage of legendary US Open tennis matches  will be stored in our video cloud platform and curated with rich ‘smart content’ metadata such as player name(s), play-by-play, and other match  details,” said Kevin Schaff, CEO and Founder of Thought Equity Motion. “This type of moment-level tagging enables creatives to access and license US Open video with greater efficiency than ever before.
