Wired To Publish Images Under Creative Commons License
Wired magazine has announced it will publish images that it generates under an editorial creative commons license. This is what the magazine’s editor in Chief Evan Hansen had to say:
âCreative Commons turns ten years old next year, and the simple idea of releasing content with âsome rights reservedâ has revolutionized online sharing and fueled a thriving remix culture. At Wired.com, weâve benefited from CC-licensed photos for years â thank you sharers! Now weâre going to start sharing ourselves.â
