We hope you like the content on Fast Media so far, if you do, and you like to write perhaps being a contributor is something for you. We are investing in the quality and quantity of our content and are looking to expand our team with:

1. A free lance writer
2. Writing Interns

Free lance writer (part-time/paid)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and creative person to become the hub of a team of writers. You will drive the daily content for the website and will deliver in-depth content for a series of magazines. Your responsibilities are:

• Write a number of signature posts for the website every week
• Ensure the articles stay on message in collaboration with the MD
• Work with expert contributors and opinion leaders to create original and compelling articles for both the website and the magazine

Experience in the photography, video or music industry is a bonus, affinity with that industry is a must. It is essential that you’re able to work independently and are able to deliver the required content on-time and on-brief. You will be part of a high-energy start-up that’s at the heart of the digital media industry. You will have exposure to a Global network of readers and the opportunity to grow with the business.

The role is part-time and you will be paid per article or per hour/day (TBD).  Please contact us for more information.

Writing interns (unpaid/travel expenses reimbursed)

We are looking to expand the number of articles on our website and are looking to build our small team with interns that help create daily content. Your work will be read by a Global audience of advertising and design agencies, photographers and stock photography companies, music companies and other professionals interested in digital media. The responsibilities are:

• Pick up draft stories from the website backoffice and create 250-500 word daily articles from them
• Create stories from press releases that we are provided with
• Combine draft posts consisting of information from various stories to a coherent post
• Add images nd media/links
• Categorise an tag the posts
• Publish and post them on social network sites

We’re looking for people with writing experience, and affinity for the subject matter, enthusiasm and reliability.
