CEPIC New Board opens registration for Dublin 2010

CEPIC, recently re-branded as the CEntre of the PICture industry has opened the registration for its annual Conference. You can register here, or here:  Dublin2010@cepic.org

The conference will take place at the brand new (and yet to be finished) Aviva stadium  in Dublin  on June 9th to 13th. The CEPIC board says that interest is already high in early registration and expects a high attendance. As a result of visitor feedback a number of improvements have been made.

  1. An easily accessible city, serviced by all the main airline  carriers. Dublin is one of the main gateways to Europe from the USA and is  also easily reachable from all European Cities as well as Australasia and
    South America.
  2. The program seeks to provide an insight into the bridge between the traditional photo agencies and the new media world. Attendees will benefit from a host of high profile speakers who have been invited to speak and share market insights.

As opposed to other years the cost of the closing party is now included in the price (over 1.000 attendees are expected). The party will take place at the Guiness storehouse  in the centre of town. There will be a number of networking events like a night at the horse races, a golf day, literary tours and a Jameson distillery tour.

Room rates have been negotiated from 75 euro per night and ‘Share with an industry buddy’ twin rooms for 100 euro per night. There are discounts for multiple company attendants and finally there’s an early bird discount until the 14th of February

“This is an absolute “must-attend” event” states CEPIC’s new President, Christina Vaughan , Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Image Source . “We know that these are challenging times in our industry and in the global
economy which is why we want to show leadership in terms of where the opportunities lie. We have some very inspirational speakers and panellists lined up with a very fresh perspective on where the growth will come from as well as lots of opportunities to network and meet with industry friends and colleagues from across the world. This really is an event that no company involved in the business of licensing and monetising imagery can afford to miss. We have put together something very new and very special – but most importantly, Dublin 2010 is about demonstrating Innovation, Opportunity and Entrepreneurship in the new digital Economy”.
