Fotolia plugin for WordPress by Lee Torrens and Amos Struck

Lee Torrens   and Amos Struck   have partnered to launch the Microstock Photo Plugin for WordPress. The plugin allows WordPress bloggers to search Fotolia’s 8 million images and import them directly into posts. The application will also suggest pictures on the basis of article tags. Images are automatically inserted into posts once selected.

“Thanks to our powerful and unique API, the Microstock photo plug-in not only offers bloggers a fast and easy way to integrate attractive images at unbeatable prices, but users also have the opportunity to make money by using Fotolia images through affiliation options,“ says Garth Johnson, Executive Vice President for Fotolia, North America.

Prices for images start at $1, and bloggers can try to earn back some of their cost by referring readers back to Fotolia. In 2009 Fotolia had already launched plugins for MS Word and Powerpoint. Picapp  also has a plugin for WordPress that is advertising based.

  • We are happy to announce that all new Fotolia Customers will get some free credits, when they join via our plugin, to tryout our plugin. All they need to do is to use the link within the plugin to get these free credits.

PS: Please check the Twitter Link (my major account is @fotosverkaufen) and the URL to the Microstock Photo Plugin Website are not working correct.

    Thank You
