Getty Images adds 100.000 images from the New York Daily News
Getty Images has added over 100,000 images from the New York Daily News to its collection. The New York Daily News archive contains images of 20th century New York. This includes entertainment, politics, celebrations, disasters, crime etc. The archive dates back to the papers founding n 1919, and some material dating back to 1880. The newspaper has also recieved a number of awards for photojournalism and its editorial content including the Pulitzer Prize, the George Polk Award, the Meyer Berger Award and numerous Press Photographers Association honors.
