Getty Images appoints Kjelti Kellough as SVP & General Counsel
July 2, NEW YORK —Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, has announced the appointment of its senior-most legal position – Kjelti Kellough, has been named General Counsel & Senior Vice President of the global media organisation, where she will join the company’s executive team, reporting through directly to Chief Executive Officer, Craig Peters.
Having served with the business for 10 years in the company’s Calgary office, Kellough will oversee Getty Images’ corporate governance, compliance, advocacy, litigation and intellectual property matters, as well as its government relations efforts. She will also provide counsel for major corporate and commercial transactions, as well as advise the business as it moves forward with its ambitious plans for growth and continued market leadership.

Prior to her time at Getty Images, Kellough was a partner at TingleMerrett and an Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon.
With the assistance of Spencer Stuart, the global executive search and leadership firm, Getty Images conducted a comprehensive search that considered a diverse slate of internal and external candidates.
Effective immediately, Kellough will serve as Getty Images’ General Counsel & Senior Vice President out of the company’s Canadian office.
