GETTY IMAGES TAKES HOME 32 PRIZES IN THE WORLD SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS

New York – August 4, 2022Getty Images, a preeminent global visual content creator and marketplace, has taken home 32 prizes at the World Sports Photography Awards, including staff photographers Bruce Bennett, Richard Heathcote and Clive Rose who all took home gold in Ice Hockey, Golf and Formula 1, respectively.  

In addition, multiple Getty Images photographers from around the globe were honored across a variety of categories, including: 

— Naomi Baker: awarded special merit in Athletics, Football and Water.

— Bruce Bennett: awarded gold in Ice Hockey; special merit in Ice Hockey.

— Steph Chambers: awarded special merit in Golf.

— Kevin C. Cox: awarded special merit in Basketball.

— Alex Davidson: awarded silver in Rugby; special merit in Racquet Sports and Rugby.

— Elsa Garrison: awarded special merit in Tennis.

— Richard Heathcote: awarded gold in Golf; bronze in Athletics; special merit in Athletics and Golf.

— Jan Kruger: awarded bronze in Football.

— Yong Teck Lim: awarded special merit in Racquet Sports.

— Katharine Lotze: awarded special merit in Gymnastics.

— Ryan Pierse: awarded special merit in Athletics.

— Joseph Portlock: awarded bronze in Formula 1; special merit in Formula 1.

— Clive Rose: awarded gold in Formula 1; special merit in Formula 1.

— Justin Setterfield: awarded special merit in Cycling.

— Patrick Smith: awarded silver in American Football; special merit in Athletics, Baseball, American Football and Golf.

— Cameron Spencer: awarded special merit in Boxing.
