Shahidul Alam, a Bangladeshi photojournalist, teacher and social activist and founder of photography agency Majority World and Drik photo library has been arrested in Bangladesh for giving an interview to Al Jazeera and posting critical comments on the government on Facebook. Shahidul Alam is well known in the stock photo industry and has visited Cepic including speaking at the Istanbul edition.
