Nearly 90 journalists killed this year

A clear reminder that in a World where Media become more virtual some things still depend on people.

At least 88 journalists have been killed so far this year, with hundreds more media employees arrested, according to the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA).

Over the past decade, more than 750 journalists have been murdered worldwide, WAN-IFRA said in a report presented today via Nearly 90 journalists killed this year | Media | guardian.co.uk.
