Online publication turns to print in unconventional move

Popular website Mashable  has entered a deal with Metro international in a move that goes against leading trends.

We’re used to reports about print publications going online but we don’t hear a lot about things going the other way. Mashable reports on social media on a very popular website with over 15 million pageviews each month. It has now entered into an agreement with Metro International, the publisher of the free Metro newspaper.

Articles from Mashable will be published in print every thursday in the US edition of Metro. Here’s a move that indicates media don’t just move from paper to print but things can go the other way as well.
