Spotlight on Artist Luis Mazón
Barcelona based artist Luis Mazón brings his warm and bold crayon-based illustrations to life in GIF format which no doubt will raise a cosy sense of comfort and pleasure to all those seeing them. His website is a-brim with cute, irreverent and cheekily risqué illustrations, which, when animated as GIFs make for a truly energetic and addictive viewing experience, testament to the transformative evolution GIFs have on what could otherwise be classified as relatively simple doodle drawings.
His work also includes an artistic nod to the engineering lead of GIF file format technology, Steve Wilhite.
