Tyler Hicks, Josh Haner Win 2014 Pulitzer Prizes for Photography

The New York Times has taken both Pulitzer Prizes for photography, prize administrators at Columbia University announced a few minutes ago.

Times staff photographer Tyler Hicks has won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography for his coverage of the terrorist attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya.

Josh Haner, also a Times staff photographer, won the prize for Feature Photography for his essay on a Boston Marathon bombing victim who lost most of both legs and is now …read more
