Does China’s hyper-developed middle class and growing advertising market for domestic and foreign goods offer an opportunity for CEPIC participants?

You bet it does.

I have relocated my permanent residence to Beijing after completing a dozen trips to Mainland China since 2006.  I maintain a vast contemporary network of regional expertise in China and have an insiders knowledge of China’s growing photographic media sectors for intellectual property rights, licensing controls, market development, supply-side base, buyer-side requirements, as well as governmental control issues as they relate to technology, financial, legal, and corporate operational structures unique to China.

I am a contributor to the American Chamber of Commerce’s (AmCham) Media & Entertainment forum; China’s top recognized foreign affairs representative for intellectual property rights and media development.  I wrote the first-ever section for “Images and Intellectual Property Rights” in AmCham’s 2011 Policy Whitepaper.  It is used as the foreign pillar document for policy development with China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), General Administration of Press and Publications (GAPP), Ministry of Culture (MOC), and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
